- I really like this song from Linkin Park.

I don't believe that death is portrayed in this song whatsoever,
I  think it's about someone who has been through a tough relationship with someone,
But is still with them but "hanging by a thread" .
And he's asking when the end comes, not necessarily death but the end of the relationship, to be remembered for the good things he has done and not his weaknesses and folly.

It's sort of sad but it's still a nice song to listen to.
