What a series this will be!

Heat versus Celtics, tomorrow on ABC! What a matchup this will be! Both teams are filled with all stars and very experienced and talented players. The Heats have Dwyane Wade, Lebron James and Chris Bosh, while the Celtics have, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo and Shaquille O'Neal. I can't wait to see this game tomorrow!

What an upset!

Spurs, the number one seed in the western conference, has been officially elimated from the playoffs by the Grizzlies, who are the eight seed in the western conference! What an upset this is! Everyone thought that it would be the Spurs and Lakers in the conference finals, but that obviously won't be happening now. Well that just goes to show that no team is safe. This is the NBA, where amazing happens, especially in the playoff!

Will the Lakers finally clip the Hornet's wings tonight?!

Tonight, the Hornets face the Lakers in an elimination game! The Lakers lead 3-2 in the series. Let's hope that they can close out the Hornets and get some rest, especially Kobe, for the next series. I don't think it will be an easy task but it can be done! - LET'S GO LAKERS LET'S GO!

Spurs get a lucky break!

Last night the Spurs faced an elimination game against the Grizzlies. In the last moments of the game, it seemed that the Spurs would get eliminated and the Grizzlies would advance further in the playoffs, but the Spurs managed to get a buzzer beating three point shot at the end of regulation to tie the game and send it into over time. They managed to close out the game and defeat the Grizzlies. The Spurs live to play at least one more game, but this time it will be in Memphis, on the Grizzlies home court. Let's see how they play there!

Tonight could be an upset in the NBA playoffs!

Tonight the Spurs face the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies are leading the series 3-1. If Spurs, the second best team record wise in the NBA, should lose tonight, then they would be eliminated from the playoffs, but let's not get carried away. This is the NBA, anything is possible. Teams have managed to come back form a 3-1 deficit and advance further in the playoffs. I, however, would like for the Spurs to lose! Less stress for the Lakers.

Lakers lead Hornets 3-2

Last night the Lakers went into game five of the series with Hornets being ties 2-2. Lakers were very careless in the first quarter and Kobe, who was coming off a bad ankle in the previous game was scoreless. In the second quarter, however, the Lakers were performing much better, and what amazed me was when Kobe dunked the ball with emphasis. This was a really insane, considering he had a bad ankle and in the third quarter he dunked the ball again with no mercy but this time with his left hand. Lakers came out on top and now lead the series 3-2.

It's bee a while!

Sorry for my absence from my blog. I was on vacation with my family. We went to Merida for about a week. It wasn't really amazing but it was a new experience for me to see Merida. The last time I went there was when I was eight, so it was nice to see Merida again.
p.s. - I will keep you posted on how the Lakers are performing in the playoffs.

Lakers win their last game!

Last night the Los Angeles Lakers played the Sacramento Kings. The Lakers had a 20 point lead heading into the fourth quarter, but in the last few minutes of the game the Kings got a 3 point lead on the Lakers. Kobe Bryant made a point shot with four seconds left to send the game into over time. The Lakers took control of the game in over time and ended up getting the victory.
The starting center for the Lakers, Andrew Bynum, has only a bone bruise and is expected to play in the first game of the playoffs. The Lakers get a good break. Without Andrew Bynum, the Lakers won't get very far in the playoffs.

Lakers finally win a game!

After a 5 game losing streak, the Los Angeles Lakers managed to get a victory against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. They snap their 5 game losing streak, but their starting center Andrew Bynum accidently walked on someone's foot and ended up hurting himself. More information will be known as time goes by. Let's hope it's nothing serious.

Lakers Get Another Chance to Snap Their Losing Streak

Tomorrow night the Los Angeles Lakers will be playing the San Antonio Spurs. This won't be an easy task for the Lakers. The Spurs presently have the best record in the NBA.
If the Lakers can manage to pull things together for this game, and beat the Spurs, then I would say they are ready for the playoffs. Have faith everyone!!!!

Laker's Keep Letting Me Down

Last night The Los Angeles Lakers played the Oklahoma City Thunder at Staples Center.
It was a tight throughout the entire game but the Thunder was too loud for my dear Lakers to handle.
Lakers ended up with their fifth straight lost. I know its sad! But don't lose hope yet Laker fans! Have faith!

Only 3 Games left!

The Lakers have only three games left in the regular season before the playoffs start.
This sunday they will be playing the Thunder on NBA TV. Let's end this losing streak Lakers!!!

Laker's Lose once Again.

My dear Lakers are in a little slump and the playoffs are about to start.
Last night the lost against the Trailblazers by seven points, extending their losing streak to four in a row.
Let's get together Lakers!!!!!
I know you're just playing the fool!!!

Lakers' other chance to redeem themselves

Last night Lakers lost by one point against Utah. That really annoyed me!!
Tonight Lakers get a chance to bounce back from their lost against the Warriors.
Let's hope they play better this time and at least finish the season in second place before the playoffs start.

Laker's Redemption

Lakers get a chance to bounce back from their lost against the Nuggets. Tuesday night Lakers will be playing against the Utah Jazz and gets another oppurtunity to get closer to having the best record in the NBA before the end of the regular season. Let's hope the Lakers keep winning and the Spurs keep losing.

YC BELIZE!!!!!

YC Belize was on April 1-2 at the UB gymnasium. The international artists that were there were the Junkyard Poets and DJ Nicholas. Saturday night was the bomb, we blew the roof off the place!!!!!!
It was really great!!!!! It's an annual event so you guys should consider going next year. Totally worth it!!

Lakers vs. Nuggets

Last night The Los Angeles Lakers played the Denver Nuggets. The Denver Nuggets proved their resiliency and fought hard to defeat the Lakers. I know, that sucks but you can't win them all right? Well the luckily won by five points leaving a score of 90-95. Don't worry Lakers fans, we'll catch up to the San Antonio Spurs before the season is over.
